Deeding Land

If you would would like to enable another person to control your lot, you can do that this way…

1. Create a group with you and the other person in the group.
2. Put the other person in the group.
3. Assign the person a role that enables them to manage land functions (e.g. make them an owner of the group.)
4. Within “About Land…” set the land to the group
5. Allow deed of the land
6. Click Deed

Now, once you have your land deeded to a group, SL acts as if the group owns the land.  Everything that you do with the land is done from the perspective of your role within the group.  This means that other group members might be able to sell the land.  However, do not fear.  The only owner I recognize is the owner of record who is listed in the tierbox.

If you would like to remove the group, simply sell the land back to yourself:

1. Go to About Land
2. Click the button to sell the land
3. Set the sale price to “0″
4. Set your self as the only possible buyer
5. Set the land for sale
6. Then right click on the ground & buy it
